Good place to fish and/or picnic. Use due caution after a rain. Small container so bring your own writing implement.

This is round 6 for a cache in this area. (They keep getting bubbafied!) Hopefully, it'll hang long enough to be well visited.

The story behind this cache is a little humorous. It seems that Bubba was playing Penny-Ante Poker with some Coppers named Abraham and Lincoln. He had such a winning night that he had to hide his winnings in the woods so that his wife wouldn't buy a new set of false teeth rather than let him buy a new shotgun.

As fate would have it, he won the lottery soon after and decided to just leave his winnings for others to enjoy!

Bubba did so well that his stash box only has space for the log book and small items. If you want to leave any trade goods, you may have to take away some of Bubba's winnings.

Enjoy!

Congratulations to the First to Find!

beautiful area, wish I could have had some time to fish or kayak in the river or something. pretty much a park and grab. Took a lock and left a dog tag.

Interesting area. I don't think I could have gotten to it a harder way than I took. I left a bandana. Thanks for the hide.

It looks like the river has taken the cache. I talked with a former finder, and then replaced the container, very nearly like the one that was missing. In memory of the original hider and friend. Thanks for the cache! #6828 ((()))
